Bhagavad Gita

Nature of Material Existence by Radhanath Swami

A person in full Krsna consciousness is not unduly anxious about executing the duties of his existence. The foolish cannot understand this great freedom from all anxiety. For one who acts in Krsna consciousness, Lord Krsna becomes the most intimate friend. He always looks after His friend’s comfort, and He gives Himself to His friend, who is so devotedly engaged working twenty-four hours a day to please the Lord.

Sacred moments by Radhanath Swami

Pure devotees whose characteristics are mentioned here engage themselves fully in the transcendental loving service of the Lord .Their minds cannot be diverted from the lotus feet of KRISHNA. Their talks are solely on the transcendental subjects. The symptoms of the pure devotees are described in this verse specifically- devotees of the Supreme Lord are twenty-four hours daily engaged in glorifying the pastimes of the Supreme Lord.

Radhanath Swami on Spiritual Chastisement

The Lord at once took the position of a teacher and chastised the student, calling him indirectly a fool. The Lord said, “You are talking like a learned man but you do not know that one who is learned—one, who knows what is body and what is soul—does not lament for any stage of the body neither in the living nor in the dead condition.” As it will be explained in later chapters, it will be clear that knowledge means to know matter and spirit and the controller of both.

Krishna waiting to help us By Radhanath Swami

The Supreme knowable truth defies all material conception. In the material world, every living being is bound under the laws of nature, which confine one within the dualities of material existence. But Krishna here explains, (break of audio) that He is both internal and external. He is within everything and without everything. He is in the moving and the non-moving. In other words He is beyond the powers of material senses to see or to know. Although far far away He is also near to all.
